Southern Huntingdon County Medical Center (SHCMC) specializes in Primary Care. SHCMC has been serving the community since the 1970's. It was formed by six local Lion's Clubs who came together to build the Center out of concern for the health of their community.
Nearly fifty years later, in April 2019, the Center became part of the Fulton County Medical Center whose mission is to continuously improve the health of the community regardless of their ability to pay. This mission continues what the Lion's Club began all those years ago and brings two community medical center's together to meet the health care needs of the people in which they serve.
SHCMC is accepting new patients for family practice. They offer on-site lab draw, cardiology, physical and occupational therapies at this campus plus provide walk in appoinements.
The Orby Pharmacy is also located on the SHCMC campus for all your pharmaceutical needs.
